Easter is almost here, and that means there will be plenty of fun for families in the Triangle throughout the coming days. Whether you're searching for the biggest Easter egg hunt, the best brunch, or simply a day of family fun, you'll have no trouble finding great events in Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill, Cary, and so many other communities throughout our area. Family-friendly Easter Events in the Triangle

  • Durham Easter Celebration – April 1, 11 am to 3 pm
    Take a break from searching for Durham homes for sale to join the hunt for Easter eggs at the Durham Easter Celebration hosted by Vintage Church. The egg hunts at the Durham Easter Celebration are always among largest in the Triangle, and there are four separate hunts throughout the day. There will also be plenty of other entertainment available, including bounce houses, live entertainment, great food, and face-painting for the kids. You can register your kids for the egg hunt in advance, or stop by the registration table event day.

  • Chapel Hill Community Egg Hunt – March 24, from 10 am to 1 pm
    Are you ready for a day of holiday-themed family fun in Chapel Hill? Shopping for Chapel Hill homes for sale means you'll get to enjoy plenty of great holiday events close to home, starting with Easter. The Chapel Hill Community Egg Hunt is an excellent opportunity to have some family fun, with an Easter egg hunt, fun holiday games, fantastic food, local crafts, and of course a chance to snap some photos with the Easter Bunny himself. Be sure to bring an Easter basket along for the trip, so you'll have a place to put all of the eggs that you find during the big hunt.

  • Breakfast with the Bunny in the Town of Cary – March 24, 9 to 10 am

This family-friendly event includes a fantastic continental breakfast, with delicious muffins, donuts, and fresh fruit for dessert. Attendees will also have the opportunity to take some photos with the Easter Bunny. Later in the day, enjoy the Easter Festival at Frank G. Bond Metro Park in Cary.

  • Annual Egg Hunt at Mordecai Historic Park in Raleigh – March 24, 11 am

The Annual Egg Hunt at Mordecai Historic Park is always one of the biggest Easter egg hunts in the city, with plenty of fun for children and parents alike. This free event is open to all, and there is no pre-registration required. Simply show up before the hunt starts at 11 am, bring your basket, and get ready to enjoy the hunt with scenic Mordecai Historic Park as your background. There are more hunts happening all throughout the city, so check with your local community center to find an event in your Raleigh neighborhood.
